“ We bought fish and chips as a takeaway for our visiting overseas guests a couple of weeks ago. We didn't get the chance to enjoy it as the guests were the priority. We went back today to treat ourselves, and we were not disappointed. Fresh tasting fish, properly cooked, and the batter is delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating. I can see locals support this fish bar. Hence, I can confidently recommend to our overseas guests. Lastly, all staff had been friendly and helpful. ”

“ We’ve just moved to the area and decided to try this fish and chip shop for our first family meal — and wow, what a brilliant choice! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. They were so patient and friendly while we placed our large £100 order, making sure everything was just right. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and piping hot when we got it home. You can really taste the quality in every bite. And the battered Oreos… to die for! Such a fun and tasty treat to finish off an amazing meal. The shop itself was lovely and clean, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. I can honestly say this will be our new regular — I can’t wait for our next takeaway! Thank you micks!! ”

“ We ordered from Micks fish bar off ubereats for delivery. The fish was large and the chips were a good portion. This is our second time ordering and the chicken wings were still the highlight. The fried chip was not bad too but breast a little dry. Cod bites were essentially mini fish pieces. Overall a good lunch! ”

“ I randomly bought a small portion of chips last year to tie me over until dinner. I wasn’t expecting anything other than ordinary. Chip shop chips, some cooked perfectly and some under done. Oh how wrong I was!!!! Chip shop Fridays were a fantasy growing up and every bag of chips I’ve ever had since has been underwhelming until I found this place. Following my first visit, I for a number of months thought that I must revisit to test these “out of the world” chips. Could they be as good as I remembered? Was it a fluke??? I visited again today and they were just as good if not better! The chips are unreal, the salt and vinegar smells and tastes like old school chip shops and the lads that run the place are great! ”

“ I’ve been visiting in Ladbroke Grove for six weeks from the U.S. I came across this shop right away when I noticed the fantastic smells as I walked by. Had my first fish and chips here and it was a wonderful dinner! Over the last six weeks I had my sister (who also came from America for a visit with her husband ) try this shop out and she was instantly on board! We have tried the meat pies, chicken, ribs, fish, and the hot dog (I don’t know what it’s called here in England… a Frank?) and all were just great! I also had their hamburgers and fries (I mean chips ) and they were awesome! I’m leaving to go back home and had decided to have one more hamburger and chips (I said it right this time !). Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you are just looking for some good food! When I come back to London for a visit, you can bet I’ll be back here for dinner! ”
